Boiler Descaling
Descaling becomes necessary when a heat exchanger develops a substantial layer of
calcium on its surface, creating an insulating barrier between the water and heat source, and
consequently reducing its overall effectiveness.
Symptoms of scale can be reduced water flow, reduced temperature, wildly fluctuating water
temperature, or any combination of these.
Regular cleaning and descaling of boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and related
pipework play a vital role in sustaining an efficient heating system.
To clean these surfaces back to their original standard, an acid clean is required, we can
undertake this by means of circulating the acid agent around the boiler with a temporary
pumping equipment.
