Installation and commissioning surveys are undertaken with the commissioning requirements of the modern heating and air conditioning installation. All tests carried out are in accordance with the Chartered Institute of Building Services, codes A & W.
Building Services Validation
Validation of ventilation, heating, and cooling services typically prior to carrying out modifications to existing old buildings. Balcomm is able to undertake validations to the client’s desired specification and carry out full scale detailed verification of all aspects of a mechanical system.
Pre-Commission Cleaning & Water
Treatment
Chemical cleaning of closed-loop heating, cooling & condenser water systems to relevant BSRIA standards. We are able to provide solutions suitable for any type of system including new built and existing.
We assist our clients from pre-construction to final handover and are able to supply our own equipment such as temporary pumps and fittings to suit the variety of different installation scenarios to ensure compliance with BSRIA BG29 guidelines.
Closed-loop Pre-Treatment
In addition to traditional flushing methodology, we’re able to carry out environmentally responsible minimal discharge chemical cleaning where pre-treatment filling & conditioning equipment is utilized to ensure ideal conditions from initial filling to final handover, reducing water use while at the same time complying with BSRIA requirements. .
Sampling & Analysis
We undertake sampling and analysis of heating, cooling & domestic water systems and provide detailed analysis and recommendations should any remedial actions be required.
Domestic Water Services Disinfections
We carry out disinfections of domestic water systems including tank cleaning & dosing as well as sterilization via local injection points.
L8 Legionella Risk Assessment
Domestic Water Services L8 Legionella Risk Assessments of existing & new systems ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
Ventilation Cleaning & Pressure Testing
We carry out condition surveys and risk assessments on the internal services as well as removal of dust & debris and sterilization of internal ventilation surfaces. On completion of works carried out a certificate will be awarded to comply with all insurance obligations, TR/19 and Health & Safety legislation.
